Añejo Mockingbird

Used to be this place was mostly about music and pop culture, but it's slowly morphed into a launching pad for finding our foster greyhounds new homes. So be it. We love the hounds and are more than happy to use our modest little blog page to reach out and snag some attention for these greyt dogs... Oh, we'll still post the occasional odd music review or rant at the state of the Redskins from time to time, but they'll hafta take a back seat to the dogs 'til further notice

Jules says hello!

So, the bad news is that Jules got returned and is looking for a new forever home, but the good news (for you) is that Jules got returned and is looking for a new forever home and you can be the one to give it to her! Jules had a mild case of separation anxiety and was making some noise in the apartment she lived in; the neighbors were not amused and here we are.
During here first few days here Jules has shown no signs of separation anxiety, although shes does have the resident hound, Radio, to hang out with so that may be easing her transition somewhat. I get the feeling that with a stable home environment and a consistent routine/schedule she'll probably be fine in most situations.
Jules is a 4-year-old, 60lb brindle female who is happy, loving and cat-safe. She is a literally a couch potato as the photo details!
Jules would be fine addition to someone's stable of hounds and would also be fine as an only dog if the home situation is structured and consistent. Apartment dwellers working long hours may want to pass on Jules but she should be fine with most other situations. Due to the bad weather of the past few days, we've not had a chance to get her out on a leash for a walk so we can't say how great she is on the leash, but we expect she'll be fine. She had been in her former home since November so she's housebroken and ready to transition to her new home with minimal fuss.
Please get in touch with Denise and get your application in early if this wonderful little girl appeals to you, 'cuz we expect her to go quickly once people see her.
